The organisation has a National Board and six State Divisions.
The State Divisions are Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria/Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
The National Board meets on a quarterly basis and seeks to set national policy, to meet with the State Divisions and to maintain a watching brief over developments that may have national implications. The association “business of the day” is primarily carried out by the State Divisions through the respective Division Executives.
The National Board has four constitutional appointments and is further supported by a representative from each State Division, as nominated by the state.
